Out of the entire United States, CNN Money has rated Franklin, TN number 45 on the list of the best places to live within the top 100 areas. That is quite an honor and must say an enormous amount about the homes that are available in the Franklin area. With a population of over 40,000, the county seat of Williamsburg is booming in growth and would make an excellent place for you to make your home. In 1799, the town of Franklin was originally founded and was named for Benjamin Franklin. The American Civil War brought the Battle of Franklin which shattered this wealthy town and its economy. After over a hundred years of rebuilding and continued success, Franklin has become prosperous again and has made its way back to the pre-war state that it was in the beginning.
